Who is this for?

Sisters at Heart 2020, a virtual celebration of survivorship and sisterhood

What are we doing?

We are creating a video montage for the flower ceremony at the Sisters at Heart 2020 Virtual Celebration. The Flower Ceremony is a breast cancer dragon boat race tradition that originated in 1996 where paddlers gather in their boats after racing and toss flowers into the water as a way to honor a member who could not participate. It will only take you a minute to film and submit your video. Don't be the last to submit!

Questions to answer in your video

  • Take a moment to capture on video (or still pictures) your ceremonial tossing of a flower into a body of water (ocean, river, stream, kiddie pool, bird bath...). Wear your team uniform!
