Your Video Book arrives with your Tribute already loaded. Follow these steps if you ever want to replace the video on it.
On a Mac
- Connect the video book to your Mac with the USB cable supplied.
- A new USB drive appears on your desktop. Double-click to open it.
- Open the video folder.
- Drag your new video file in, and delete the old one — exactly as you would with any USB drive.
- Wait for the transfer to finish, then wait another 30 seconds so the book can process the file.
- Eject the drive by dragging it to the Trash.
- Disconnect the cable.
On a PC
- Connect the video book to your PC with the USB cable supplied.
- A new USB drive appears — usually named something like USB (F:). The drive letter varies from computer to computer. Double-click to open it.
- Open the video folder.
- Drag your new video file in, and delete the old one.
- Wait for the transfer to finish, then wait another 30 seconds so the book can process the file.
- Right-click the drive in File Explorer and choose Eject.
- Disconnect the cable.
If it doesn't play
Give it the full 30 seconds after the transfer — the book needs that time to read the new file. If it still won't play, check there's only one video file in the folder, then email support@tribute.co.
