You can't, permanently. Undo and redo cover your session, every edit autosaves, and Save History keeps earlier versions you can restore. Removed clips sit in a recovery list rather than disappearing.
Vertical clips get soft blurred sides instead of black bars, by default. Ten color grades make footage from ten cameras agree, and a nine-point position grid plus Fill Canvas rescues a badly framed clip.
