How to Change the Deadline for Your Tribute

Change it on the page

Click the Submit by date in your Tribute's heading and pick a new one. It saves straight away.

Or change it in Settings

1. Click Settings in the right-hand panel.
2. Scroll to Submission Deadline.
3. Click the date and choose a new one.
4. Click Save Settings.

Your reminders move with it

Reminder emails are scheduled from the deadline, so they shift automatically. Look at Schedule Reminders in Settings and you'll see the new dates listed beside Halfway, Day before, Day of and Day after. Tick or untick any of them.

Note. Reminders that have already gone out aren't sent again.

Deadline and event date are different

Both live in Settings and they do different jobs:

• Submission Deadline — the date you're asking guests to send their videos by. This is what drives the reminders.
• Event Date — the date of the party, service or occasion, so we know when you actually need the finished Tribute in your hands.

Does the deadline close submissions?

No. It's a nudge, not a cut-off — most Tributes receive videos after the deadline passes. See Can Videos Be Submitted After the Due Date?
