Some people record with their phone at arm's length and some hold it under their chin. You can set the volume of any clip on its own so the whole Tribute plays evenly.
Change one clip's volume
- Click Edit Media in the right-hand panel.
- Click the clip you want to change.
- Find Video Volume in the tools at the top.
- Move the slider up or down, then play the clip to check it.
- Click Save.
Two related controls
- Mute background music during this video. — silences the soundtrack under this one clip without touching the clip's own audio. See How Do I Mute the Music in My Project?
- Sliding a clip's volume to zero silences it but keeps it on screen. That's the fix for a video with unusable audio that you still want people to see.
